- Wednesday: Gnocchi di semolino with formaggio

The Spice Lab International Cooking Classes
Scheduling a new class for locals – Finally! Special Christmas Class. Christmas Cake decorations. Wed Dec 21st 4:30. We’re going to learn how to decorate mini cake balls. Each student will go home with at least 4 decorated cake ornaments. This one is open to kids and adults. Children under 9 must be acompanied by a registered adult. Children 30 euros, Adults 40.
Knitting Course for Beginners
I would like to inform you about the “Knitting Course” that I am organizing. The course is for people that don’t know how to knit, or for those that used to knit but haven’t touched yarn & knitting needles for ages. I am planning to hold 3 lessons of 2 hours each to teach some basic stitches and how to start and finish a simple knitting project. With the basic stitches that you learn, you will be able to make practically anything. The cost of the course is 60 euros. I will be giving the course at my office in Viale Gramsci 73. The number of people can be between 4 and 6. I don’t want more than 6 people so that I can help everyone during the lessons. If there are more people interested, we can make two groups. The course can be taken between 14-16 (for the ones that don’t have to work during the day) or between 19-21. We can decide on the date to start/the weekday/the time with the people that intend to take the course. (I am also available for 1-to-1 consultation; the cost of an hour is 15 euros)

Siena Art Institute
My daughter and I have been taking excellent classes at the newly opened Siena Art Institute. I am doing the Monday evening Ceramics class while my daughter does the kid’s art class. It is a great school. Here is the flyer with their ongoing classes. The school had been a great addition to life in Siena for us both.
