Your Child is Ready to Go to School?

Information General:   School is not required until the age of 6 years.  Normally you have to register your child in January of the year you want to start your child.  (ex. January 2007 to start September 2007).  If you just arrived and you want to put your child in school, just go to the school and they will tell you if they are full.  If not full you probably can get them in immediately.

There are public and private schools.  The one mentioned above is private, but is taught in English.  In my opinion, going to the public schools can be really good they will learn the Italian language.  This really helps in raising your child to be billingual.  Of course the public school and how good it is depends on your area.  You can always writes us and if some is in your area they might be able to recommend.
